Like the clothes we wear, a fragrance presents a person's lifestyle, personality and style.

If you ask when or how I began to develop an interest in scents. I believe it was the lesson from my jerky-ex-boyfriend infected me. Like most of the girls, I used to think that perfumes smelled too strong, and I just relied on my trusty body splashes from The Body Shop. Until one day, my jerky-ex-boyfriend told me that I wasn't sexy enough and I smelled like a kiddo. That feeling was like give me a real punch in my face, so I started to explore different perfumes to find the scents I liked. Guess what? I loved smelling good! A real good perfume is much better than a body splashes - body splashes smell too faint and had no lasting power. Perfumes have a way of turning my every casual look into something incredibly chic. Perfumes are like something invisible magics really changing your look and increasing confidence.

As I delved deeper into the world of perfume, I found myself the most important factors for my perfume choices include the ability to last for at least three hours, fresh and easy going scent, having a soft silage. I am open to different types of perfume but I realized myself most drawn to unisex, fresh and clean scents for my daily casual wear. Musky, woody and elegance for my evening wear. Here are some my top favorite fragrances from my stash!

Chanel Allure Homme Sport
One of my favorite which came as a fresher and sharper fragrance. The base is composed of sensual white musk, tonic beans and amber. Surprisingly this perfume for men is working well on me. This will always have a place on my shelf. It is creamy and clean. Never fails to be complimented.

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne
Composed of ambrette seed, sea salt and sage, along with red algae and grapefruit. I keep coming back to this scent because it is easy to wear, natural, unique and quite present. This scent has a very low projection, which I find perfect for the workplace.

Chloe Eau de Parfum
It's all about modern, feminine floral. I'm not a huge fan of rose fragrances. Most of them smell old-ladysih and outdated to me. But this perfume is a gorgeous fresh zesty rose. The best way to describe this is sexy and clean. It has a copy vibe and reminds me to never lose that spring in my step while going through life.

Pleats Please Issey Miyake Perfume
You can feel the fashion and pop culture from this perfume. I love the design of the bottle, very uplifting and joyful. And the sweetness from this perfume is not overpowering and the patchouli takes back seat while vanilla an musk roams free. Best perfume for a long time.

CK One Gold Calvin Klein Perfume
The bottle is stunning, and the scent itself I like much more than usual Calvin Klein fragrances due to its woodiness. Read our review here

Maison Martin Margiela 'Replica' Lazy Sunday Morning
The nose behind this fragrance is Louise Turner. This floral fragrance features white musk, iris, woody notes, pear and rose. Read our review here

GD Eau De Toilette
GDragon's first fragrance. With a woody, citrus scent. The fragrance is perfect for both men and women. Soft, comforting, feminine and pleasant. This is appropriate for the office and is great for all seasons too.
