Today I want to give you four easy tips to build your confidence, because when we believe in ourselves and we know that we can do things and we can archive things, we actually do. There are honestly so many other ways, and I'm only giving you four today, but there are so many other ways that we can work to build our self confidence. So, if any of you have tips that you'd like to share, let me know below!

So, without further ado, the first tip is groom yourself and dress nicely. You'd be surprised how much better we feel about ourselves when we are showered, when we are wearing an outfit that we feel good in. I know this seems like specific to girls, but guys are the same. If you are clean shaven, you're wearing a nice outfit, and you're headed in somewhere, you will feel like, "I already to kick some ass." There's something about being dressed nicely, being clean and groomed that makes us feel so much better about ourselves, and that's something that is actually pretty easy to take care of.

Secondly is act positive. Sometimes the quote that I use a lot is, "Fake it until you make it." Why? I means, if you want people to treat you nicely, you have to do the same thing to them. Be generous and be welcoming to people at the coffee shop or in elevator, say something like, "Good morning, have a good day." or "Let me get the door for you." Being friendly to people and acting in a positive manner can totally turn it around for us. I even had that experience in my life. There's a one day I got up late and I went to the restaurant and it's not like other day, they ran out of breads. I means I drove extra to come over here and getting breakfast from you, and now you can't make it. I could let myself feel really bad and being rude to the waitress, but instead I decided to act positively. I smiled to them and said, "Thank you so much. Have a nice day ahead." So, the waitress would not have the chance to say something to ruin your day. Remember, you can't make it, we can fake it.

The third tip is get prepared. Let me tell you my problem. I always be nervous speaking in front of strangers or new friends, especially when speaking in English. I don't know what was I expecting but I was just so nervous and started feeling shy and my mind go blank, so I can't speak English clearly and confidently. And I know, most of the new friends are like audiences, they don't really encourage you. They just want to see the jokes on you and they won't worry about your next move. (I even received few mean comments from them, from my back.) You know what I mean? You don't want to go somewhere, like to a test or to an interview or to meet new people without feeling prepared for it. Because often times we almost set ourselves up to feel bad. Like we will go into an interview, and we will stress about it, and we won't even do anything to prepare for it. And then we sit there and they ask us questions, we don't know what to say. That just recapitulates that negative thinking, and so we keep thinking, "Yeah, see I am a dumb idiot." But you're not, we're not. We just weren't prepared. So whatever it is that you are going to do, even if you're going to a friend's house, you can actually prepare a couple of pairs of clothes that you feel good in. Like I said at first, dress nicely. You know there are things we can do to prepare ourselves for success. And the more prepare we do, the better we feel about ourselves.

The last tip is setting small goals and archiving them. This doesn't means get an "A" in a test. That is not a small goal. Small goals are make each one of these things a habit. For example, this week I'm gonna dress nicely three days. That is small goal, because guess what? When we archive those small goals, we feel even better about ourselves. So each week try to encourage yourself to set small goals working towards the things that I just mentioned. And I promise, if we are working together, we will start feeling better about ourselves. And then, the world is our oyster. We can do whatever we want, and we are a force to be reckoned with.
